Ealy's Real Estate Appraisals is a family-owned appraisal company serving a seven-county area in east-central Illinois. Located in Charleston, Illinois, our appraisers serve in the counties of Coles, Cumberland, Clark, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, and Shelby.

Ealy's Real Estate Appraisals specializes in the appraisal of residential properties, multi-unit properties, commercial properties, relocation properties, as well as land and farm properties. We staff five appraisers, one has a state general certification and four are state certified residential appraisers. Our appraisers currently maintain both mandatory and voluntary continuing education requirements and we are current on changes in government regulations and client requirements regarding appraisal reports. Our appraisal reports are completed in compliance with The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Code of Professional Ethics.

Ealy's is committed to utilize the latest computer technology in preparing appraisal reports. Some of these features include:

• Computer databases of area comparable sales
• Access to Electronic MLS updates for the most current sales information
• Digital color photographs
• E-mail access for transmission and receiving  of appraisal orders
• Electronic delivery of appraisal reports using lighthouse software or Adobe PDF format).

Ealy's is currently working for clients both locally and nationally. We are maintained on the approved appraiser list of many mortgage companies, banks, savings & loans and relocation companies. We also perform appraisal assignments for individuals seeking to determine an opinion of the market value of their real estate. Being a full service real estate appraisal company, we perform appraisals for a wide variety of purposes. Some of these include:

• Interim construction appraisals - for homes both proposed and under construction
• Home equity appraisals - complete or limited format appraisals meeting individual lender requirements

Having experience in the area of residential and commercial appraising, we know and understand the importance of a quick turn-around time and accuracy in the appraisal process. Our standard total turn around time is 3 to 5 working days (7 calendar days) from the date of inspection for residential properties. At times, our schedule can be accelerated in special circumstances when requested by the client where the need arises. The time frame for Commercial Appraisal services varies dependant upon the nature and complexity of the assignment.
